This video was previously on the Greatest Page, but profoundly bears repeating. For me it is the clearest and most compelling explanation for the global Occupy rebellion, based on science. I believe its viewing should be required viewing for US citizenship, both for those who already enjoy that status and those who aspire to it:

4. You're welcome. One of the most interesting

things about his presentation (imo) is that the mechanism for the re-distribution of wealth (e.g. tax policy vs. social programs) is not very important. What is important scientifically is that significant wealth re-distribution actually occur in order to have a happier, more stable society.
