42. You're missing the point . . .

Liberal/progressives have finally have concluded the political process broken beyond repair and it cannot and will not address their problems, or anyone's except the wealthy. They don't want an issue addressed, they want structural change in the government, society and the economic system. They don't want to deal with the government, they want the government to deal with them.

If they want structural change, talking about it will get them prison sentences, make them disappear without charges, or get them killed.

If they want structural change, talking about a list of single issues will do nothing but bring them derision and ridicule by the press and defeat even before they submit the list.

So, they're camping out. There's no overall plan, yet, because that's their main defense, since they want to do this peacefully.

If individual members don't know this, the "leadership" definitely does.

Or maybe I missed your gotcha point.
