Seems pretty obvious that arrests wouldn't happen in the same night in multiple cities without a higher authority directing things.

Probably related to medical marijuana and aiding the PTB.

there is no evidence at all that PO has anything to do w/this, and I'm standing firm that arrests are made on a local basis, depending on the mayor/PD in the areas affected. Here in Boston, mayor Mennino has the authority to press the PD into action, as apparently happened early this AM.

PO would have nothing to do w/local police actions...how could he?

benefit him politically and to weaken the Republicans politically. I do think there are many legitimate criticisms of the Obama Administration in regard to their dealing with Wall Street but I don't believe this is one of them.
