6. Had this happen at a peaceful rally (teacher strike) in Oregon
many years ago. Police acted like we were a bunch of
criminals. Probably the only "records" the teachers had
was a handful of parking tickets or something similar.
It was shocking. Our attorney(later governor) said that
during strikes, etc that police normally took one side or
the other and acted accordingly. He was right IMO.
Saw one smash a newspaper reporter's camera, arrest
for "crossing a street", and you name it. Lots of lawsuits
after. City lost them all, i think.......z

13. Midnight is when the shite will hit the fan:
Occupy Boston needs your Support Tonight!
by JPo October 10, 2011
Police are gathering in mass to remove Occupy Boston campers from the North Camp expansion and possibly from the Main Camp tonight at midnight, by force if necessary. We are calling for all able-bodied volunteers to come lock arms with us in solidarity and defend this Occupation from any police presence that may arrive. Please write the number for the National Lawyers Guild, 617-227-7335 on your body as well as a personal contact, and in the event of your arrest call a family member or other trusted contact with that information so the NLG can represent you.

For ongoing updates follow @Occupy_Boston on twitter or text “OccupyBoston” as one word to 443322.

www.occupyboston.com

The protestors are sending out messages asking people to join them and help stop the police at midnight. This is gonna be a big hot mess. The mayor got a bug up his butt about moving them for some reason.

14. They need to keep their cell-phone cameras...
...rolling and taking pictures. That is the biggest weapon we have--documentation of the
brutality.

I sure hope the police are civil and that everything remains peaceful.

People in the Boston area, should notify ALL local media regarding this.

Local television stations and newspapers--as well as stringers working for AP, Reuters, etc. should
be contacted.

People should go there with their cell-phone cameras, just to document what is happening.
Sometimes the presence of cell-phone cameras seems to deter brutality. I think it helped
in NYC.
