1. Maybe it is because each media outlet has 24/7 time

to fill and there is a lot of footage out there on Palin. And as long as she has her bus, if they can't get her on camera they can get photos of the bus. Of course they can always get Pecos Rick because he is always on stage.

2. $ is the reason

1- A reliable group of people want to look at the 50% ex-governor, for some reason or reasons
2- Those viewers probably will end up watching ads
3- Ads pay the networks' bills and bring big profits.

The networks function 99.99999% of the time based on profit concerns. The only time they do not, is when
they would be slapped down by public opinion.

3. Entertainment - it's what people want

Even on DU, with the EPA news, the jobs speech, and lots of other topics, there are more posts about Palin than anything else. DU is so interested that we have posts about the media's interest in her. As long as we want it the media will be glad to give it to us

4. M$M money. They will air about anything that makes them a buck. It's tabloid

journalism. Good news doesn't sell to the masses, it's the way humans are programmed.
