Great batting line up - strong tail (what happened there, England?). Strong varied bowling, even though Swann has quite sparkled as I'd hoped. Good fielding.

5. The batting is phenomenal from top to bottom...

...with this squad at the Oval the only non-threat for a century at the crease is Jimmy Anderson, but Broad, Swann and Bresnan are bloody handy with the willow...I don't ever recall a line-up of England batsmen this deep...the bowling has been sublime...
