New Low of 26% Approve of Obama on the Economy

PRINCETON, NJ -- A new low of 26% of Americans approve of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy, down 11 percentage points since Gallup last measured it in mid-May and well below his previous low of 35% in November 2010.

1. As corporations sit on trillions and refuse to hire people
I'm not sure what more the government can do to fix this problem, especially with the teabaggers in charge of the House.

Do some research
Although the corporations may be moving overseas and therefore not hiring U.S. workers they by no means are not hiring people and they are by no means not making record profits.

Most of the jobs in the USA are created by Small Business.

Small business are not the super rich and are afraid of expansion when they are unsure of market conditions.

4. Democrats Alone Back Obama's Performance on the Issues
From the link:

<...>

Democrats Alone Back Obama's Performance on the Issues

Obama earns scant support on the issues among Republicans, and does not do much better among independents. In contrast to Democrats' majority approval of Obama on all seven issues tested, fewer than half of independents approve of the president's handling of any of these.

<...>

The President's approval on the economy took a hit in recent weeks, but the Republicans sure are lining up on one side.

Still, notice that the President's approval on the economy has been hovering in the 35 percent to 39 percent range for about a year.

Now that the debt ceiling fight is over, his ratings will likely rebound.

12. That's what happens when you don't fight for regular Americans
He was elected based on his rhetoric. Americans needed & wanted someone who was going to fight for US, not the mega-wealthy & corporations.

He hasn't fought. He's given in time after time. His economics team pretty much says it all. The vast majority of Americans want taxes raised on the wealthy. Well, we see how that's gone so far! The majority don't want cuts to Medicare and SS in particular. And he has put them on the table. And on and on.

And he just plain doesn't get it. He keeps moving right and conceding more in the name of "bipartisanship." And Republicans wipe the floor with him at that point. And Americans witness it and shake their heads. And he just doesn't fucking get it!

Yeah, I know about the Republicans and corporations and blah, blah, blah. But Obama has earned this rating all on his own. If Americans had seen him really fighting all of the ReTHUG/corporate crap I suspect it would be a whole different picture. They don't see that because he isn't.
