Could be a battle between Karl Rove & Rick Perry!
Edited on Fri Aug-12-11 08:37 PM by napi21
Did you just hear that reporter from the sallas Morning News on Rachel's show? Seems there's no love lost between the Bush supporters and Rove, and Rick Perry & his fund raisers. The reporter said Rove will NEVER raise and $$ for Perry so Perry is going to have to go around Rove and get the big $$ contributors to give to HIS PAC's instead of the Rover's Pacs. Now THis could get very interesting! i think we all know the Rover will do anything, legal or illeal, to get HIS WAY, and from what I've heard Perry is much the same.

4. As much as I would like to see them destroy each other,
Perry will demolish Rove's machine. We've already seen it happen here in Texas.
I have yet to meet anyone here who admits to voting for this scum, but he's still governor.

7. I haven't heard anything specific, but I know the bad blood goes back before
Perry took over the governorship when "W" was put in office. it increased when Bush, Rover, et al were backing Kay Baily Hutchison for Gov and Perry beat her.

As to who the Rover is backing this time, I have no idea...probably anyone but Perry!

8. Just found a Politico write up (standard disclaimer applies-
take with a large truckload of salt). They suggest Rove's outfit was leaning a little toward Romney.
Talks about a feud that goes back 12 or more years ago...

Perry was a Democrat that Rove recruited, effectively launching his career, and the allegations of Rove's handling/advice on his later lieutenant governor campaign go from there.
