Man Cuffs Self To Woman Who Declined Dates
AUGUST 11--A Georgia man who has been pestering a female coworker at Taco Bell for a date handcuffed himself to the woman in a bizarre incident that landed him in shackles and facing a felony false imprisonment rap.

Lovestruck weirdo Jason Dean, 24, allegedly handcuffed the 18-year-old woman Monday night in the parking lot of the fast food joint in Ringgold, according to a police report. The teenager was freed after other Taco Bell workers convinced Dean, pictured in the mug shot at right, to release her.

The victim, cops reported, had repeatedly rebuffed Dean’s advances over the past month and even had her work shift changed to avoid her creepy would-be suitor.

When Dean was arrested last night, he was in possession of the pair of handcuffs believed to have been slapped on the coworker.

2. Creepy.
I've been stalked by would be boyfriends even after I got married, whom I've rebuffed, to the point that I had to move and change my phone number at time, but none of them ever handcuffed me.

14. Sad
but at least he was honest about his urge to make her "his" in an adolescent acting out kind of way (and he did it in public...kinda reminds of a neanderthal "Oklahoma" moment)

This comment on the story is very much to the point:
If I were the manager, I would have fired him long ago. If it's to the point where she has to change her shift, it's a problem <emphasis added>.
I think Taco Bell might well be legally exposed here if the manager did not do enough to protect the young woman from what was obviously harrassment.
