Face it, Republicans *WANT* more incidents to occur. That's my belief, based on their positions, and I'm going to keep saying it.

How long before some "seemingly normal" student gets pissed off at a Professor who gave him a D, or who's "been riding" him, and decides to unload on him and other witnesses?

But others will be packing as well, Conservative logic says. So, now we have a shootout in a classroom? Food fights still aren't allowed, but gun fights are okay?

Wow. http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/2011/01/06/20110106thur1-06.html

3. At least we can rest assured that the NRA likely has no hand in this......

I'm sure this :sarcasm: is not required.

10. Eh. It wasn't that long ago when a gun a school campus wasn't a big deal.
I'm only 40 and one of the high schools I attended had an indoor shooting range - and marksmanship classes. The banning of guns everywhere doesn't make anyone safer. In fact, I am fairly certain that the case could be made that the kneejerk bans make us demonstrably less safe.

11. I sure hope that was a private school then...
Because it strikes me as a gross waste of finanical/phsyical resources that could have been spent on more productive areas.

12. It was private. But if it wasn't, so what?
There's more to life and education than standardized tests.
