Choppy waters ahead.
This week will open with shaky stock markets, manure easing out of our tv sets and radios about more sacrifices needed by the people, more division, lies, and despair and false remedies to follow.

There's colors on the street
Red, white and blue
People shufflin' their feet
People sleepin' in their shoes
But there's a warnin' sign
on the road ahead
There's a lot of people sayin'
we'd be better off dead
Don't feel like Satan,
but I am to them
So I try to forget it,
any way I can.

Keep on rockin' in the free world,

-Neil Young

Keep your resolve. Our time to be heard approaches. Keep an eye out for marches in the coming months. The fooled will be there marching for the corporate state. We will be too. It's probably a good idea for DU'ers to post upcoming events so as many of us can participate as possible. Now or never is arriving.

1. I usually don't post on threads of mine where no one else has,
but I wanted to add a realization of mine. If we reach the point where the automatic triggers kick in, 2012 will have represented the year where in domestic economic policy, the United States will have moved to its furthest point to the right in my lifetime. Yes, I was born into an era of two societies, one of apartheid and racial injustice. But outside racism, domestic economic policy still will have reached that point. It will take another generation to move this country back left enough to get this country back in economic policy to a point it was a few decades ago. This is quite depressing to me because I wanted so much more for my two sons and have done what I could to leave them something that has been steadily decimimated the last decade due to crony capitalism.

Let's don't sit on our asses anymore. By that, I don't mean work on political campaigns or your local precinct. It has gotten to the point that is no game changer. I know because that is what I have been doing. No I mean either run yourself for an office or enter the world of peaceful civil disobedience, visit congressional offices to voice your concerns, and participate in any demonstrations you possibly can attend. This really is do or die. This really is time to push back or die on the vine.
