Only in the UK! Wheelie Bin Urinal Solves Pub Closing Problem.

The ubiquitous trash can on wheels gets a new use in the UK. A clever plumbing arrangement and an opening in the front of a typical wheelie bin, lets ale-soaked pubgoers who leave at closing time to find relief. Parked on the walkway, the wheelie bin urinal is convenient, handy when needed, and oh-so-Green. Urine is collected in a container at the bottom of the bin, with pipes running from the opening. Grass clippings in the container soak up the second hand brew. When full, the mixture can be used as fertilizer. The bin still serves its normal purpose, as well. Coming to the USA? Who can say?

Fertilizer is waste material from animals, unless you prefer the chemical stuff. Brilliant marketing on that stuff.

The best fertilizer is compost, made from kitchen vegetable matter, leaves, grass clippings--anything that has been alive (or in a living being) at some point.

Urine is excellent for bringing nitrogen back to the soil. I've read of people who pee on their tomato plants, but I haven't done that. I have, though, diluted it with water.

Life comes from life, or the byproducts thereof. If you really want to get grossed out, read how much insect parts, rat feces, etc are allowed in the food you buy. I suspect you'll come to understand how the many chemicals marketed to farmers for years are *really* something to gag over.

A practical solution for a pretty common problem. Just ask any business located near a popular bar. Come 2 AM, and the bargoers have to pee somewhere. Guess where? The neighboring business owners can tell you.
