This time next year, the Republicans will be running from the Tea Party.
The Tea Party? Who are they??

Individual Republicans will vow that they were never really that close to the Tea Party. They were just a fringe.

The truth of the matter is that most of them now have a lip-lock on the Tea Party. They see political advantage. They see survival.

Next year, the Tea Party will be about as popular as a skunk at a picnic. Most Republicans will disown them. But, as of today, they love 'em.

We are living in volatile and fast-changing times. Those that adapt are those that survive. People will soon see that the Tea Party is nothing but a bunch of loud-mouth morons with a combined IQ of approximately 67. Revenge is a dish best served cold...

2. I think they already have buyers remorse
I think things will continue to go downhill for the Republicans. The TeaPartiers have no idea how government works and don't want to. They do not believe in compromise and will burn the house down before giving in on anything.

3. Some of the Wisconsin protestors
apologized for their votes. I wish I could have warned them before they voted, but they didn't ask me.

9. They have themselves to blame
the warning signs were there....they chose to ignore them. I am heartend to see that they accept the mistake they made and they are going to correct it next week.

4. I'm uncertain they will. Republicans aren't likely to lose a voting block
without remorse.

5. With any luck at all...
and according to the article in the link below, by this time next year the Tea Party should be dead and rotting.

We can only hope.

"Has the tea party peaked? Republican lawmakers affiliated with the upstart anti-tax movement scored big in the nerve-racking debt-ceiling debacle, but the victory left enough hard feelings to feed the movement's ultimate defeat.

To quote an old Chicago White Sox slogan from the 1980s, their achievement was a case of "winning ugly."

With the nation's credit rating in the balance, the tea partiers seized the normally routine matter of raising the nation's debt ceiling and held it hostage, gangsta-style: Cut government spending our way, they reasoned, and nobody gets hurt."

8. That is their purpose. Use them, to claim you have no choice on things, then jettison them, AFTER al
all the teafreaks abandon it. Voting in lock step for rethugs. Just like they used them to deny ever knowing Bush.
