Do we have the right to know?

They have left Washington and have gone on "vacation" for the month of August. Are they in their districts or are they in Bangkok? Or are they on a cruise along the Alaskan shore?

We pay their salaries but we don't have a say in where they might go on vacation. Although they could argue that it's none of our business where they go on vacation, some would argue that there should be transparency and we should know where they are at all times.

Personally, I think it is our business. Who are they with? What are they discussing? Are they getting campaign funds for listening? That is our business, in my opinion.

My Congressman is rather advanced in age and was never a ball of fire.

But he is a very solid Progressive Democrat, so IMO he's entitled to be doing whatever he wants.

The ones I worry about might be on some Caribbean with escorts provided by some corporation.

5. Steve Southerland??

His teabagging ass is apparently in hiding.

For the last 2 or 3 days, I've been stalking his (taxpayor funded) webpage and Fla. news sources. Next week I plan to begin phoning his Tallahassee and Panama City offices demanding a townhall.

I've learned that he has a likely opponent for 2012 but she's getting all snagged up in Prick Scott's "election reform" crap.

I cannot wait for the 2012 House races! I am ready to get involved in a big way.:evilgrin:
