How to fix the country...
1 - vote out ALL incumbents during their primaries.
2 - vote for the best person during the general no matter what party they are from.

4. He has a point though
That's exactly what the teabillies thought they were doing. Unfortunately their idea of best person for the job includes chest-thumping and raping goats.

6. Vote regular Joe's and Mary's in that's how. Get rid of
professional politicians. Elect from the internet and not from the MSM crap hole.

9. The problem with that theory is that all the politicians will be amateurs...
...but all the lobbyists (and the generals, etc.) will still
be *VERY MUCH* professionals.

12. How naïve! Knowledge is power. The lobbyists will have all the knowledge...
(of how things work, of who is who, of what programs are doing waht,
of where the bodies are buried, of how to manipulate things so they win,
etc., etc.).

11. Yes the house will be all freshmen, but senate only 1/3
Plus, it seem to take one reelection before freshmen give up their beliefs for campaign contributions, if you think about it the Teabaggers are doing just what they said they would do.
