I had a prof who was in the Norwegian underground. Old dudes can be so incredibly cool.

3. The Scandanavian Underground

in WWII saved more Jews than in any other region...Many Danes, Norweigans and Finns were smuggled into neutral Sweden. I can imagine your professor had some fascinating stories to share. Quisilings were a small "party" that by no means represented anyone by Hitler. From my experiences Norweigans are some of the most Progressive and liberal people in Europe.

4. the nordic and the other baltic states have their share of racists

there`s a big anti-muslim-foreign movement in these countries. stormfront has almost as many members in europe as it does in the usa. there`s other european countries that have a well organized political right wing-nationalist racist parties. russia and some of it`s former colonies are even worse.
