No, Sarah Palin did not pull the trigger yesterday. Nor do we know at this point whether the gunman paid much attention to her. But do know about the rhetoric she uses and the kind of people who react to it. So did Alaska blogger Phil Munger of Progressive Alaska. From the very day we learned that she was John McCain's running mate, Munger warned us about her, her devotees and the forces that were about to be unleashed in the country as a result of her celebrity. I wish the country listened.

3. From what I understand,

she was actually talking about March Madness there, basketball. She just can't seem to keep the violent rhetoric out of anything she talks about.

It's the way she governed here, too, with her obscene wildlife management policies, which unfortunately her successor is continuing.

4. Holy shit

Is that quote real? If it is, it makes the entire crosshairs map seem stupid in comparison. That quote needs to be spread everywhere, it is 100 times more damning than the map. You read that quote and then you look at what happened yestrday and I dont see how anyone could not see the parallels.

I would make a new thread if I were you and repost that quote because everyone needs to read that, I dont think even the mainstream press could play down that quote the way they are doing with the map.
