Sherrod Brown petition: Join the Fight to Save Social Security and Medicare!

The GOP is looking to balance the budget at the expense of seniors and the disabled. If they have their way, the GOP would cut essential programs like Social Security and Medicare in order to fund more giveaways to millionaires. Sherrod Brown has created a petition to tell Washington that we can’t force our most vulnerable citizens to pay for the deficits created by the right.

5. I am STUNNED & ASHAMED that I have to fight with the SUPPOSED "Democratic" Party...

...to try to SAVE these programs.
The Democratic Party I joined 44 years ago would NOT have to be petitioned to fight for Social Security/Medicare,
or FIGHT for Spending during a recession & Jobs Crisis.
Those thing were EXPECTED from the "Democratic Party".
