I now have to accept 3rd Party Cookies to view YouTube.
I guess Google doesn't mind doing some evil these days.
Why not track everyone doing everything by anybody they choose.

1. Pretty soon you will have to have a Microsoft/Facebook acct to log into your bank's site.

Because they need to know who you are.
Why not track everybody? We have the technology. It would be an unlawful restraint of trade to forbid the great fraternity of monopolists from using technical capabilities that are well within their means.

2. "Full Screen" stopped working on youtube for me two weeks ago
I changed nothing on my system.

This really pisses me off since as I've said before, I invented youtube about 10 years ago. Had a working site up and ready to go, but my boss was just too stupid to know what I did and he decided to kill it.

3. So erase them
You can set Firefox to erase everything when you shut it down. Just remember to shut it down at night and <poof!> all those nasty little cookies are gone.

You'll have to remember your passwords, of course, and type in any online ordering forms, but you'll get used to it.

4. I shouldn't have to
"get use to it"
There is no reason that YouTube needs 3rd Party Cookies.
I am not as apathetic about my privacy.

7. I'm not the one who's apathetic.
People who don't pay attention to their privacy and security are apathetic.

Non apathetic people have already figured out how to set up their Firefox to protect their privacy.

8. In the last month of so, YouTube has been a huge pain.
Edited on Wed Jul-13-11 04:20 PM by EFerrari
It wanted me to open a gmail account. I have one but am not inclined to tell YouTube that. It wanted to link to my FaceBook page. No to that, too.

It's annoying and intrusive.

No problems at all.

Full screen came right up.
