I doubt that anything useful will come out of this debate, unless you're looking for comic material.

7. Watching CNN and ROFL
My husband and I are sitting here, commenting on all their comments and laughing hilariously. Why can't there be a serious, moderate Republican candidate?! A grown-up?!

I have to say that John King is trying -- he has some very good questions, questions that everyone is managing to sidestep.

They're all trying to out-crazy each other. No one is saying anything very different. Anxiously awaiting questions on education and social issues...

48. In his head mostly.
Mitt just said he would tolerate other Religions, probably because most Fundies see Mormons as FALSE CHRISTIANS.

Then Newt just basically said ... NO MUSLIMS can be trusted, to a round of applause.

On the Sharia thing ... in a few states, Muslim women have asked to be able to wear their head scarfs in DMV photos. In some Universities, muslim women have asked for a place to exercise with no men (which basically means, can we get one hour a week in this room over here). These are the kinds of examples the right wing uses as SHRIA LAW coming to America.

Nut jobs.

55. It started out sounding like a competition over who had more children.
Then it deteriorated from there. I was just thoroughly stunned at how many different ways I saw these people voicing their wishes or intentions to screw me.

Either it was ripping hard-won rights and dignity from gays - in the military or at the altar, or it was their religious beliefs that would be all over their policy decisions like a cheap suit, or it would be screwing workers and the unions that protect them, or it'd be the fairy tale about running government like a business, or keeping up the war hard-on all over the world, or cutting-cutting-cutting because of some nasty, selfish hatred of goverment or the social safety net that so many more people rely upon, or denying me my right to have the last word over MY body (I'm sure that came up - I didn't watch all the way through, though). HORRIFYING! HORRIFYING!

Just the very thought that somebody from this team could win the White House - HORRIFYING!!! STUPEFYING!!! I stood there, aghast, when it just became so horrifyingly clear - that they're against just about everything I believe in. And they're for most of the things that horrify me.

Obama better win.
