Sorry, I Still Support Anthony Weiner
in his service to this country. his willingness to highlight poverty. his standing up to the republicans who are destroying women's rights.

if its about LYING, I got news for you, republicans get up everyday and lie about EVERYTHING. sorry I'm not offended about him lying about texting his nuts to someone else.

I am offended by republicans lying about paul ryan's budget that would effectively endanger the lives of millions of americans and lying about it

I am offended by republicans trying to redefine rape and endanger the lives of every woman in this country and lying about it

I am offended by republicans using hatred and bigotry to oppress people's civil rights in the LGBT community and then lying about it.

if you wanna be offended by people lying, there's what you should be offended by.

because if the worst anthony weiner has lied to me about is a small personal failing while continuing to be open and honest and fight for people's rights, freedoms, and basic human dignity in this country well hell, I can live with that. cause it sure as hell doesn't endanger the lives of millions of americans the way republican lies do.

3. I'm not sorry. I Still Support Anthony Weiner
and I'm not going to stop now. he isn't the first to tell a lie and he sure as hell won't be the last. This was a lie about a personal matter, not a political matter.

5. Yeah, me too. However, I don't think his wife will forgive him
for putting her through this. She was not by his side and I'm glad. That is just so republican. Their marriage is not old enough to survive this easily. Hillary had a hard time doing this, though admittedly Bill's sin was more serious. However, if Weiner would do what he did do, I do believe he should be thankful he got caught. He was cruisin' for a bruisin', as we say in the south. He might still pull out of this ok. I certainly hope so. We need him. How come men are so led around by their penises? For God's sake, go home and play with your wife. Be honest about your sexual needs and get legitimate excitement and satisfaction, or get a divorce. God, I hate this.

8. Me too, I only hope Weiner doesn't back off on the republicans over this
The guy is one of the few, the VERY few, Democrats willing to stand up to the barrage of bullshit put out by the republicans and their allies in the liberal media. He had to be taken down a peg, didn't he? He had to be silenced before people started paying attention to the things he was saying.

In spite of what he says he did (which by the way did not break any laws) I still support him and I want him to keep up the attack on these douchebags.

And I still can't help thinking something smells awfully rotten about this entire episode.

sorry, but I don't get the drama nor the ridiculous knee-jerking regarding the media. The media makes this look ten times worse than it is, and supporters fall for it? He lied, and he most likely has lied before this.... just as everyone has. You can't act a certain way hen the media is bending over backwards to give people such as Dimfart any credibility. After ACORN, that motherfucker should be banned from the media.

Republican: "You should be disgusted... he stomped all over your good will towards him and his career. How can you trust the man now?!"

It's that easy to shame dems??? I'll just say I am suspicious over the "outrage" I am reading here.

11. That's the point: we ARE offended when Rethugs lie.
If we're OK with Dems lying but not Rethugs, then we're hypocrites.

16. I haven't seen anyone yet
on this board say they are OK with Weiner's lies. He's a strong voice, no one condones what he's done and he deserves a little compassion, especially after sticking his neck out time after time - to me, he gets another chance.

13. I support him,

Being born and raised in NY, and now living in Virginia, I see what we're up against.

Forget this small sh**,there are much more important matters than this.

Wish I could vote for somebody like Weiner.

BLAC.

18. So you're saying it's OK for Weiner to lie because Pukes do it every day?
Sorry, but one of the reasons I'm a Dem is because we need people in office who don't lie...or think their power will protect them...or is that too much to ask?

28. Trust in what? Did he lie about the issues, the things
he was elected to fight for?? On what issues that you trusted him on before, do you not trust him on now?

As far as the sex thing, it's not my business, I don't like it, but I'm not married to him.

I don't see where this affected him in his job. Where do YOU see it?
