Man I cant stand how the 'experts' came screaming to the government, screaming at the government Help us help us!
They screamed at the government when they wanted the power to do what happened. THey did it to themselves, they did it to the country, they did it to us. They knew it was coming, they knew what they were doing. THey made themselves a TON of money. Took a TON of money. Took a TON of OUR money. And NOW, WE are the ones paying them. WIth tighter credit requirements, higher fees, more fees.
And YET they can sleep at night!

1. No business should ever get tax money

All the financial institutions and the automakers should have been allowed to fail.
We need to make sure that it never happens again

3. I disagree. When they LOANED money to the auto companies

they saved thousands of US manufacturing jobs. I thought it was about time they did something positive for the workers in this country. Then when Washington DC did do something, we hear criticism even here on DU. . .
