Tweety ad naseum about Palin. Really, really pushing her. Shouting down anyone who brings up the fact that she doesn't know anything. Almost manic.

Sigh. Okay, I'm turning it off. But really.....

5. Tweety's so fickle.
I thought it was Obama that gave him the tingle.

Don't want to say anything true, lest they have to issue an apology, get suspended, etc.

6. It would be a real education if he saw her in person
We tend to age at lightspeed once we turn 50 and she's getting there. Massive doses of HRT will slow it a bit but the consequences are pretty bad.

She will always be the media focus while Mittens and Palenta and the other losers will be totally ignored.

8. that's partly why I like Tweety.
His off-the-wall, stream of consciousness mutterings are amusing to me. It's an Irish blarney thing; Joe Biden knows about this.

9. He once called Katherine Harris a really attractive
woman when she was throwing out votes in Florida that would have gotten Al Gore the Presidency. I guess he likes that make-up with a plasterer look. It makes him ignore the jungle rot underneath that it's covering up.

10. You have to understand the language of Tweetydom
He'll praise her to the skies today, then tomorrow he'll attack her with a vengeance...Day after he'll praise her again

It's sort of like how he was gushing like a schoolgirl when GWB was strutting around in his flight suit after the Iraq invasion....Now he ridicules him for it.

The key -- Forget consistency

14. I think you confuse commentary with support.
She does look great. There isn't anyone like her and she is fantastic (at stump speeches. ...the part you forgot to quote). That doesn't mean she isn't a vapid tart and it doesn't mean Tweety is pushing her agenda. He's pretty clear on his disdain for her as a public official.

15. Tweety would love to score an interview with her. It's about ratings.
He's making the right noises, but this would be "a get" for MSNBC. I switched on Tweety the other night (not a regular viewer), and he was so busy kissing Steele's ass, he forgot poor David Corn was in the room.

Even when I agree with Tweety, he gets on my nerves. I can't think of anyone more in love with the sound of his own voice.

24. We watched the same show. He seemed so delighted to have Steele
there, that I don't think David was ever allowed to make a single salient point. He tried to, but was repeatedly interrupted by Tweety & Steele. Frankly, I don't know why anyone goes on with Tweets, because his guests are lucky to complete a single sentence.

20. Tweety doesn't support her for president, he only supports her running because she's a
trainwreck. Palin will make good copy and boost ratings, which is what it's about. Anyway plenty of people here in the DU support her running for president but no one wants her to win.
