Poll question: Can "Medicare for All" Sweep the Republicans out in 2012?
The Democratic Party may have noticed the two-by-four to the teeth this spring and figured out that a "Medicare for All" platform just might be popular. What's your take.

1. It could, but the Dems won't go for it.
On the other hand, killing-Medicare-with-vouchers may itself sweep out the Repuke majority in the House.

2. The Democrats won't have the balls to try it.
They would rather sit back and let the GOP hang themselves. Inviting attention only encourages criticism from the angry mobs of confused voters.

3. Dems won't do it because they're too afraid that the republicans
will call them "socialists".

4. Yes but there would have to be a political party to introduce it.
We're in a two party system.

5. By the time of the elections, the Paul Ryan plan will be a Democratic initiative...
The Republican operatives will have convinced the voters that they never had anything to do with this disaster and that it was actually proposed by Democrats. They will create a few more auxilliary diversion concerning abortion and immigration to cover their bases. The election will be a squeaker.
