Aren't they going too far? I feel offended that they are adding this to the list of baggage that blacks fighting stereotypes need to deal with.

1. It was more about the entire sentiment than any one statement nt

2. I agree, it was the whole thing, not just any one part really. I loved Tweety's phrase for
Gingrich though, "the Phantom of the Republican Opera." Just about made me spit out tea on the computer screen!

3. Huh? Could you explain a little more? What exactly was said on Harball?
What do you mean by "using a con?"

6. Huh? Didn't you see Jeanne Cummings's shameless defense of Newt Gingrich's ....
....racist descriptions of the president?

She finally gave up when she said she couldn't defend NG's assertions that the president had an anti colonial mindset because of his upbringing. Matthews explained how that hearkened back to the Mau-Mau and that's when she finally threw in the towel saying that she couldn't defend that.

Hardball discussed "con" in terms of how Gingrich has been calling Obama pulling a "con" job on America.

9. Good summary.
Tweety was deftly calling out Newt's coded race talk. The Politico lady was defending with, "he may be a scumbag but he's not racist." Finally, it was spelled out just too clearly.

Sometimes ya gotta love Tweety.
