It really doesn't matter which particular member of their asylum the Republican's select as their 2012 nominee. They have no possible candidate even close to attracting "main-stream America."

The Republican Party has marched in lock step (goose step?) off a cliff. And they've left themselves with no sane-looking candidate for the next presidential election.

No matter which of their "carnival barkers" they put up, Obama will beat him/her into the ground. It could turn into a landslide election.

I'm not overjoyed with many things that Obama has or hasn't done. Nonetheless, I intend to work my ass off to see that he's reelected. And the reason is that any Republican in the White House in the near future will only enhance the pain that far too many Americans are feeling today.

The bottom line is that President Obama, regardless of his faults, is as good as we are going to see for many years to come.

There are many American zombies glued to Fox "news," or repeating "ditto" to the oxycontin king of radio. Are you planning on sitting out the next election? Or are you planning on getting involved in stopping the maniacs? There's only one sane answer to those questions. What's yours?
