What is served by these OPs whose goal seems to be to proclaim any Democrat with money "evil"

In the first OP, the attack on a Democrat that has money is justified by the idea that John Kerry (or his wife) have 'holdings' in Comcast and NewsCorp. Except that those holdings are less than one tenth of one percent of their total holdings. It's hard to argue a conflict of interest when the interest is so small you dont even notice it.

In the second OP, there isn't even the pretense of a related issue or claim of conflict. Pelosi is simply stated to be bad because she made a lot of money last year.

Both of these OPs are guilty of a form of the logical fallacy "Appeal to poverty" http://www.logicalfallacies.info/relevance/appeals/appeal-to-poverty/

Should we allow OP's that use logical fallacies to attack Democrats?
