it's clearly routine practice for mods to move gun threads from GD to the Guns Forum or Outdoor Life Group, just like almost any thread mentioning Israel goes to the I/P forum, or threads questioning the official Bush/Cheney explanation for what happened on 9/11/01 get sent to the 9/11 conspiracy dungeon.

DemoTex frequently posts about his fire lookout duties in Oregon in the GD forum and there was debate among the moderators as to whether this should be moved since it was related to those posts, as opposed to being about gun policy. Ultimately they could not come to a consensus on the decision, so the thread was not moved.
