. 1. Why aren't recs and unrecs only accessible through an actual post? I understand why alerts are anonymous... but recs and unrecs are statements/comments/opinions, even when not accompanied by any text. Why allow anonymity (beyond the anonymity afforded by usernames) of an OPINION on an open discussion board? . . 2. Is there a way one can see the number of unrecs on any particular post? If not, WHY not? . . . . 3. I understand, as above, the need for anonymity of alerts, but is there some way to assign members/posters an alert ID number -- that way one could see, for instance, that 20 people alerted on various posts twice... while 1 person alerted on various posts 843 times? . The numbers are arbitrary, even facetious -- the question is real. . It could tell a poster several things -- including the fact that while one of his/her posts was within the rules, it upset/offended/galvanized x number of people negatively. . . . Thank you for sticking with what must STILL be an avalanche-load of work in this forum. . . .
