2 Chili Dogs With Fries-Gate

President Obama -- This Chili Dog Tastes Ironic

6/5/2011 7:00 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

The day after his wife unveiled a new USDA guide for healthy eating, President Barack Obama stopped at Rudy's Hot Dog in Toledo, OH and scarfed down two chili dogs ... with fries.

1. Let's see:
Protein, carbs, and dairy.

The only things missing are the veggies and fruit.

46. Reagan appointee said "ketchup is a vegetable". John Heinz (Republican Senator) said " No, ketchup
is a condiment." He should have known. His grandfather invented it.

Obama looks like Chris Christie. There's nothing wrong with an occasional guilty pleasure and it's hardly as though Obama has a weight problem.

32. Yeah, the very same Republicans who think it costs too much...
...to improve school lunches with more fruits and veggies. I mean, it's not like children are our future or anything... :sarcasm:

Seriously, Obama could donate his entire salary to the poor and erect a statue of Mother Teresa with his own hands, and the 'cans would still find fault.

This is not counting the high level stress of his job. He'll burn those calories in minutes. I don't see how this is relevant.

13. wish you hadn't posted that pic... raw corn is wonderful!
My parents used to grow corn (and about everything else, since we lived in california) and we'd eat it fresh from the stalk. it was seriously delicious, as well as snap peas, pea-peas, etc.

fresh off the vine tastes good in most cases, especially in your own garden.

But yeah, good chili is ZOMG delicious!

24. Seriously?
My dad had a big garden when we lived in Missouri. Lots of corn and tomatoes. I don't remember ever eating raw corn. Maybe a kernel or two when Mom was cutting it off of the cob in order to freeze it, but never just ripping open an ear and having at it.

9. I doubt anyone running their mouth about this has to put up with a fraction of the shit Obama has to
People need to get off his nuts. If he wants to have an unhealthy meal every now and then, who really gives a shit? On top of the enormous pressure and vitriol that he endures from day to day, he is in better physical condition than a vast majority of this fat ass country.

And why didn't Amerigo Vespucci focus on Chris Christie's last meal?

Did Obama take Air Force One to see a soccer game with his daughter? Did I miss that?

What is all this bash Obama for eating an American meal tripe doing on DU?

Amerigo Vespucci are you a closet Republican?

Chris Christie's last meal was a whole roast pig and a five-pound bag of tater tots fried in lard, with a gallon of ice cream for dessert. He wasn't feeling very hungry and decided to eat lightly.

Here 'tis:

"Bearcat34 11 hours ago

I love how his wife is spending billions of our tax paying dollars to tell the US what to eat. Telling our FREE COUNTRY what to feed our children, while her Husband/Our Idiot President is eating chili dogs. I'm glad he's going to be a one-term President."

Yup, apparently BILLIONS of dollars are going to the food police who will force you to eat a carrot at gunpoint...

37. As someone who is working on the First Lady's Let's Move! initiative, the objective
is NOT to deny these bad foods altogether; the goal is to eat this junk in moderation...AND to stay active and healthy. Just because the president has chili dogs doesn't mean that he eats this shit on a daily basis. He is very active and very fit, and otherwise has a pretty good diet. The guy is in great shape, and so is the First Lady!!
