Does Sarah Palin believe we are in the end times?
These statements seem to reflect that. From a Christian Science Monitor article dated November 2009:

Her latest bombshell: to effectively call for an end to 40 years of official government policy on Israel in an interview with ABC's Barbara Walters. In teasers the network is releasing before the interview airs tonight, ABC quotes Gov. Palin as saying Obama is wrong to oppose settlement expansion, an ongoing issue that is dimming the chances for progress on peace between Palestinians and Israelis.

"I disagree with the Obama administration on that," Palin said. "I believe that the Jewish settlements should be allowed to be expanded upon, because that population of Israel is, is going to grow. More and more Jewish people will be flocking to Israel in the days and weeks and months ahead. And I don't think that the Obama administration has any right to tell Israel that the Jewish settlements cannot expand."

The only flocking of Jewish people to their homeland that I have heard described is in the end of days/times scenario.

Someone needs to ask her this directly and when she is stupid enough to answer yes, she will be toast.

1. Palin? Believe?

The only belief I'm aware of her having is the belief that she would enjoy picking out the White House drapes.

The woman has ice in her heart and worms in her head.

2. End timers (or at least those with that perspective) are predominant in the GOP

particularly with the teabaggers, so that's not necessarily a huge liability in that crowd. In a general election, however, that could prove pretty damaging though certainly not the most damaging aspect about her (the "Left Behind" series is, after all, pretty popular among a lot of people). My wife and I re-watched some portions of the Katie Couric interviews with Palin in 2008 and it's evident she has not evolved too much since then. If anything, she has actually devolved. I don't know how not being able to finish serving a single four year term as governor would make anybody outside the teabagger crowd feel comfortable about her ability to serve as POTUS. Even Bush II, as incompetent and incurious as he was, wasn't as much of a walking disaster/embarrassment as Sarah Palin has been during her post-2008 GOP VP nominee political "afterlife".

6. Who the hell cares?
And why, oh WHY do people here insist upon giving her any attention whatsoever? ESPECIALLY over some article that is from freaking November of 2009? That was a year and a half ago, people! It's ancient history now!

Jeez! Just ignore her and she'll go away.

12. If you honestly believe that, you're incredibly naive
"Ignore her and she'll go away". Bullshit. That's a lazy cop-out attitude. Us ignoring her isn't going to change the fact that she has a very vocal and energized base. We ignore her at our own peril.

A year ago here in Florida, nobody in their right mind would have given Rick Scott a chance in hell of winning the GOP nomination, let alone the governor's race.

15. So it's perilous to not dredge up some ancient crap?
I'm sorry, but I'm just not buying that. Sure, she has a loud mouth and garners media attention, but she gets that attention because people are getting all bent out of shape about her and it makes for good ratings

The best thing in the world is to not re-publish these articles (ESPECIALLY ancient ones like this) because every time someone does that, it's just that many more hits for the news site or whatever, and when they see a bajillion hits on anything that says "Palin," they're just going to puppy-dog around her even more. In short, it's just enabling and encouraging the media every time someone brings up her name.

If she ever announces that she's running (and I seriously doubt that she will), then you're going to not be able to ignore her. Until then, it's still the best bet to just kill her with inattention.

and I had never seen it before. This particular line really bothered me and I had wondered why nobody jumped on it before. I usually don't pay her much attention but she is in the news again today for her trip to Israel. Sorry for your inconvenience.

and maybe Florida for retirement.

Tells me a lot about America that this idiot could continue to get this much traction and attention.
