The "dumber sons of dumb politicians" envelope keeps getting pushed
Ben Quayle Is Scaring Us
8/11/10 at 11:23 AM Comment 8Comment 8Comments Ben Quayle — the son of all-time gaffe master Dan Quayle — as you may have heard, is running for Congress in Arizona. When he's not giving people the impression that he has kids or denying that he used to blog about his search for the hottest girl in Scottsdale under a porn-star-inspired pseudonym for the predecessor to TheDirty.com, Quayle is making campaign ads wherein he says things like, "Barack Obama is the worst ... president ... in history," and, "Somebody has to go to Washington and knock the hell out of the place." He says this slowly, calmly, his serene exterior belying words that indicate a seething rage brewing just below the surface. It is terrifying.

2. Ben Quayle! Is he as intelligent as his Dad?
What scares me most is he is my age! Yikes. I must be getting old.

Not as dumb as a teabagger, though. Even Dad Dan knew Hawaii was part of the US.

"Hawaii has always been a very pivotal role in the Pacific. It is IN
the Pacific. It is a part of the United States that is an island that
is right here."

Ben Quayle denies link to 'Dirty Scottsdale' site

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/2010/08/10/20100810ben-quayle-link-to-dirty-scottsdale-politico.html
Ben Quayle, the son of former Vice President Dan Quayle and an Arizona Republican congressional candidate, denied Tuesday that he once was a regular contributor to Dirty Scottsdale, a Web site that chronicled the city's clubs and nightlife and the predecessor to the popular gossip Web site TheDirty.com.

The site's founder, Nik Richie—whose real name is Hooman Karamian—told POLITICO that Quayle was "one of the original contributors" to the site when it started in 2007. After being contacted by POLITICO, Richie on Monday published a post describing what he said was Quayle's role in the creation of the Web site along with a campaign photograph of him.

"I did not have a role in founding that site," Quayle, a lawyer who runs a small Scottsdale investment firm, told POLITICO in an interview Tuesday morning when asked whether he was one of the original contributors to the sex-themed site.

"I was not involved in the site," he said when pressed about whether he had any role.
