3. They've both been surprisingly supportive of Obama's speech AND results
of the BP meeting AND his actions from the beginning. Mika has been very upset at anyone blasting Obama's speech or behavior since the beginning to the point of arguing with Giuliani when he refused to even give Obama credit for getting BP to put up $20 billion with no cap in escrow. Then, the WH sent her a message giving the facts about their actions since "day one," refuting Giuliani's attacks on Obama.
4. I missed that. When I see that people like Giuliani is going to be coming up on the show
I switch channels. Glad she was supportive and that Joe didn't try to talk over her so that she finally gives up...hope this is a sign that things might be changing on that show. I'll give it a try tomorrow...
10. I didn't think it was a great segment. I just said I was very surprised that Mika and Joe
have been supportive of Obama and defending him against the critics (especially those who criticized Obama's speech right after it). They both kept saying they must've missed something because they thought he did exactly what everyone WANTED him to do, concluding that some won't be pleased no matter WHAT he says.
The Giuliani segment was infuriating because they DID all gang up on Mika. My point was that Mika was on the right (correct) side for once.
11. OK, sorry I didn't mean to go off on you, Jen. It's okay.
I'm just disappointed. I don't like to see the ONE WOMAN on the TV set being talked down, ridiculed, and disrespected. She could have set the guidelines ahead of time and said "This is the way it is going to be." She obviously did not.
No more. I won't watch any more of this stuff...sorry...
I posted on this thread mainly to address your OP in which you seemed to think Mika and Joe were bashing Obama on the oil spill/speech. They were doing quite the opposite. That's all. :hi:
