"Cong. Joe Barton, R-TX., ranking mbr on House Energy, apologized to BP's Hayward for the "political pressure" heaped on BP. .... Barton said BP did not get the protections of due process and was pressured by the govt. "Amounts to a shakedown," said Barton."
