So now what?
Halter lost, lincoln won.

Do we get behind her to beat the teabagger? Do we hope that Halter has put the fire under her ass, so that she know that she is vulnerable to the left as well as the right? Would this realization make her do the right and swing more center left?

A lot to take in tonight. I just hope orly makes it through in Ca. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving. Yay Orly!!!!!

I NEVER EVER EVER support primary challengers .... NEVER .... I basically disagree with the concept.

3. Of COURSE we have to get behind her to beat the teabagger! She's a conservadem,
but she'd be one more Dem. to stop Repubs. from gaining the majority.

and in the scheme of things, that's really a net gain- as it makes the party that much closer to drawing a bright line Democratic policies- and Republican ideology.

9. That's not gonna happen this year. Or 2012. or 2014, or 2016 and beyond....
Boehner is a representative, not a Senator.

McConnell is the one you're thinking of.

12. Fuck that.
I'll support the Democrat. And you should promote their defeat on your own dime. It shouldn't happen here on this board.

20. I'll support progressive principles and values
And Lincoln doesn't share them- but works against them

She's EXACTLY what's wrong with the Democratic party and exemplifies why Democrats are looking down the barrel of a Republican majority in the house.

The party is far better off without her in the Senate legitimizing failed right wing ideology and crossing over and voting with Republicans.

At any rate, it doesn't much matter- as I've said she's toast and everyone here ought to be spending their time and money supporting candidates in other races who have a reasonable chance to be elected.
