Palin, SBA List back Bledsoe

Arkansas state Sen. Cecile Bledsoe won an endorsement from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin ahead of Tuesday's GOP runoff primary for Arkansas's 3rd District House seat.

Calling Bledsoe "an inspiring individual," Palin wrote on her Facebook page: "Cecile is another Commonsense Conservative 'mama grizzly' running for Congress this year. ... Cecile is a pro-family, pro-Second Amendment, fiscal conservative who will work hard for the people in Arkansas' 3rd Congressional District."

Palin's endorsement follows a Tuesday announcement from the Susan B. Anthony List — a group that supports female candidates who oppose abortion rights — that it would launch a $20,000 get-out-the-vote effort for Bledsoe's campaign.
