"Evo Morales and Football" is my favorite so far. (Among other things, he organized an ad hoc football match instead of going to a state banquet put on by Michele Batchelet.)
http://nuestrosricos.blogspot.com/2008/05/footballing-passion-of-bolivias-evo.htmlAnd these two articles are also interesting, informative and thought-provoking.
"Radical Priests/Liberation Theology"
http://nuestrosricos.blogspot.com/search/label/Radical%20Priests%2FLiberation%20TheologyThe article "Israel in Colombia" seems to assert that Salvatore Mancuso (whom Uribe recently extradited to the U.S. in a suspected cover-up of death squad murders) was trained as a death squad killer by retired Israeli Colonel Yair Klein and his private company, Spearhead. It details other Israel/Colombia connections but it is not a well-written investigative piece. I would say that it provides some investigative clues that need a lot of solid follow-up work and more rigorous writing.
As to quality of the writing, the blog is uneven--it seems to be a place for young and struggling voices, as well as more polished articles. The item about Israeli military dog training has detailed comments by some U.S. soldiers and is fascinating for this reason. (They criticize US military dog training and praise Israel's.) It's an eclectic blog in this respect--you don't know what you're going to get when you click on a link. You might find yourself inside the mind of a U.S. Marine who was sent to Israel to learn how to handle dogs in war.
