This is a good and interesting article in the Cuban media, especially so considering that the RWnuts say there is no room for dissent in Cuba. I love(ed) reading the Cuban papers - especially the local media.

1. In Cuba there's no room for dissent

It is a communist dictatorship, highly repressive, the press is muzzled, and it's impossible to publish a paper which advocates a change in government. Read Human Rights Watch and other reports about Cuba. It's a gerontocracy led by 80 year old men, supported by corrupt henchmen who are only interested in maintaining the status quo because they happen to be the new oligarchy living in the large houses.

A HS principal I know did. She said she would have a hard time chosing between the US and Cuba because people were happy there.

That caught my attention.
