3. ¿Translation por favor?

I sure wish we had more progressive adults in the USA who could speak so passionately!

How inspiring that must have been to all of those there to see/hear that oration/exhortation.

My high school Spanish isn't able to help much here, I sure would love to read the speech in English if anyone has a link...

4. If I find something later on this young man, I'll post it. Nothing so far, as other sites
are all featuring this wonderful video.

I could only understand some of the words, myself. I'm in your shoes, very likely.

I loved his painstaking effort to use "Goriletti" in place of Micheletti once. Very cute. It was amazing to see he spoke without any notes, any prompter, right from his heart, as if he had decided exactly what he had to say, in his own words.

What fire, feeling, belief all right there in that kid. The audience was 100% with him with rapt attention and appreciation. Real people, real problems, real intention to solve those problems. It is wonderful. May they all be protected and may the monsters fall, and fall HARD.

6. I'll have to listen again, but I think he used language
that is not allowed in my 2nd grade Spanish immersion classroom.

10. Firm steps to revolution.
Firm steps to socialism.

Some jokes about punching Goriletti in the fat stomach.

16. I have a joke. Two clothespins are talking to each other.
One asks Micheletti, "Are you enjoying your government?" "No," he says, "I am not because they keep punching me in the stomach---which is a huge tire."

Micheletti, why do you kill the countrymates? Because the golpistas are shameless.

5. Thank you, Downwinder! Thanks also to magbana! What a kid!
That had to be a real highpoint at the Voces Contra El Golpe event which will live on in their memories a long, long time.

8. That thought occurred to me, too. The people loved his oratory, but no doubt
it could make him a marked (young) man in the eyes of people like Micheletti.

13. I HATE it when that happens. (I posted some Goriletti images on a thread you started. )
By the way, I've been there, too.

It's truly not worth the effort, is it? Yuck!
