"but he doesn't have a chance in hell" -- IF his name is mentioned at all. On many of the polls he's not included -- granted he's way down there, but it's as though he doesn't even exist. Same with Richardson, Dodd and Kucinich - aggravating, as I'm sure you can understand.

16. That's what I'm counting on for Joe.

Iowans tend to look at the underdog, so as long as Joe makes for a respectable presence, he might be the underdog they boost. You know how monotonous it gets to see the same ads day after day. Well, imagine seeing the same ads, fliers in the mail, phone calls and people knocking on your door. Mind me, I'm not complaining, as I rather enjoy the process to a point. But, what I'm trying to explain is that we are really, really tired of the top three. By primary time, just the beginning of the words Hillary, Obama and Edwards will send chills down our backs. By that time, just plain Joe is gonna fit like a glove. I just know it.

Yes, most of us have reached a point where Biden is our first choice, but that doesn't mean we don't admire qualities of other candidates.

I like all of the candidates . . . but I will confess that I have some issues about Edwards.

Just like people would never vote for Biden because of the bankruptcy bill, or Anita Hill (which many of us are scratching our heads over)
My problem with Edwards -
Fortress funds - they made money off of the poor, and their home office is in the Cayman Isles to avoid paying US taxes.
And when he was an attorney, he never did any pro-bono work. How could that be? and at the same time say that he fought for the poor? My dad was a hot-shot attorney in downtown Chicago. Even he did pro-bono work. An attorney does pro-bono work when they have a heart - when sometimes doing the right thing is more important than making money.

Those 2 issues really rub me the wrong way.
That probably pissed you off, just like it pisses me off when I come across negative Biden threads - and Biden gets his share!
I am speaking for myself here, not any of the other Bidenites.

The reason we post things here is to discuss it between ourselves; we don't post this in GD-P or GD.

Anyway - it's not that we don't like other candidates - it's just that we all support Biden 110%.

this is the first time we are going to vote for someone rather than against someone else. It is such a wonderful feeling & one that we haven't had before, so we are sometimes a bit exuberant in expressing our desire for Joe over the others.
