Question...
I'm thinking about posting my letter to Joe in GDP. Thoughts? Should I or not? In a way, I want it out there, and in another, I'm not sure.

1. Why not?
I think most people have been surprisingly empathetic (esp. for DU) you may get a few arseholes who feel the need to bash, but just ignore them.

Go fer it. :hi:

2. Yeah, except those few who continue to kick him while he's down...

but I think I am back at the anger phase again, and feel compelled to continue to defend Joe. Which is the reason I asked about my letter to him. Because I think there are some things in it, that some people aren't considering. Mostly about the caucus.

3. Don't forget other blogs, too. And LTTEs, although you might have to trim
it some.

4. Take out the things that you think might piss off the Iowans
if you must, and then post it.

I posted to the LA Times blog and called the main stream media a bunch of faux pricks, still waiting for my post to be approved. LOL. Let's see.

5. Well,
I'm not out to offend. But, it's the way I see it, and I try to call things as close to the reality as possible. Not all Iowans are happy with the outcome of the caucus. Some will defend it to the death, because it's what they know and love. But, it seems to me now, that a lot of good people running for president, have been rendered moot after the Iowa caucuses, and not just this year.

I just have a better understanding of it now, hence, my problem with it. The added problem this year, was the media. They compounded the problem with viability, when the media determined who was electable for everyone in this country. I'm not sure that happened in the past....

It's also important to remember, that all of the candidates lost votes, not just the 2nd tier. Edwards lost votes, Obama lost votes, Hillary lost votes, etc. They just had sufficient numbers in other precincts to cover those losses.

I think if every vote counted, in the way people walked through the door to vote, all of the numbers would be different now. Even for people I don't like. I wonder how different it would actually be. I know Obama got a lot of Biden votes, a few went to Hillary, and some to Edwards.

What would it have been on a straight count? We'll never know.
