Look at this photo I found.
Last week I found 3 black and white photos in badly damaged frames at the thrift shop. I think they're by a photographer named Stephen Austin Welch (still waiting for a return email from him to confirm). This one photo - the one I purchased first - really touched me. It's the one I plan to have reframed to keep.

2. It looks like a decrepit iron railing and crumbling post.
That's my best guess anyway. I got misty eyed, too.

4. Overall 11" x 13". I got an email back from the photographer
I thought had taken it and he says it's not his, so the mystery continues.

5. Thanks, that's a great size for framing
It looks like there's an inscription that's visible on the upright stone.

I used to collect old glass negatives and have a local shop scan them to disk for me. I love old photographs. Some, like this one that you found are uniquely heartwarming and this one of yours is like that.
