Crocheted Obama doll
Yes, I can...crochet! :)

So far most of my crochet projects have been easy-peasy, flat dishcloths. Now I'm learning how to crochet in the round. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd project I've completed (the first was a little amigurumi teacup).

I had trouble making his arms the same width -- somehow his left arm turned out thicker. That's ok, it makes it authentic since he's a lefty! ;)

It's based on the finger puppet pattern from Lion Brand. I modified the bottom to make him a stuffed doll instead. He stands up better that way.

Thanks for looking!

Giz :)

2. Thanks Elsewhere :)
I'm getting the hang of crochet in the round, thanks to YouTube and some classes I took @ Joanns. :D

If I stick to single and double crochet my projects turn out ok.

Those scuffies look so cozy and adorable! Very nice work indeed.
