Hooray! I finally opened my Etsy shop!

I've been selling my handmade soap and body care products for three summers now at my local farmers markets, but I finally jumped in and went online. Yesterday I had no idea how to use a digital camera, so I'm sooo happy with how most of my shots came out. (I'll have to redo that deodorant shot, though!)

This is really a big deal for me. I reserved my space on Etsy almost a year ago, and it's taken me this long to do anything with it. :blush:

Nice shop and your soaps look fabulous. I'm one of those people who just gags at the phony scents that are so prevalent these days -- it's nice to see someone sticking to the real natural stuff.

I marked your shop a fave -- I'm just getting started at Etsy myself, just opened in mid-August. I do home decor accents created from my own photos, fractals and art work. Check it out if you're so inclined!

I have an old college friend who originally majored in painting, like I did, but later went on to explore his true love, mathematics. He's now a tenured mathematics professor who publishes on fractals. I'll send him a link to your shop.

I keep adding items, even today. :) I have a lot more, so if there's something you're interested in--a variety of soap or a particular color paper earring, let me know. Odds are I have it in stock (if it's natural) or can make it. I don't put everything up on Etsy because I mostly sell locally, and it seems to take me forever to list anything.

My shop is looking awfully empty, too. I actually have about 15 varieties of soap in stock, but either haven't had time to photograph them for Etsy or else know that I'm going to sell them all locally at my shows and markets. What's your shop? I'd love to take a look.

14. I feel kind of stupid with one thing in a store! But I have a bunch of stuff

that I just need to take pictures of. I don't know why I have recently become obsessed with hair barrettes. I used to make jewelery. I've always loved crafts, (I even made some soap once, nothing like yours though, and some face cream).

So for now here it is. My camera kind of sucks so I have to go to my mother's to get good pictures. Hopefully I'll get there sometime this week and put some other things up.
