I found this while Stumbling about. It is a well-done display of quotes from various RW'ers about their ideas for the religious future of America.

The piece is an anonymous web-page, or I would give credit to its creator(s). It iis apparently the work of an individual in Finland, but it is in English.

Also, it would be nice if the source of each individual quote was listed, as it would lend credence overall. However, I am familiar with many of these quotes, and know them to be genuine. How does one go about finding sources?

I was thinking today how American religion has been co-opted in this campaign of lies and fear. I can't go to church anymore without thinking negative thoughts so I don't go much anymore until my wife complains enough.

3. What god would want these losers?

These people seem to hate everything about their supposed deity's Creation: diversity, knowledge, pleasure, people... and of course above all sex. They seem to believe that life should be about mumbling over select passages of the Bible (the pre-Christian bit, of course): their maker must be ever so impressed with their use of their short time on this unfortunate planet - not to mention their genitalia.

Ugh, people using each other for pleasure... Disgusting! :rofl:
