Cuba's next step forward.
Most here probably know that Cuba has managed to achieve the same level of health care outcomes, infant mortality, life expectancy and such, as the US while spending 1/10th the amount, and a far superior rate of literacy. You may also know that its main export is medical care, not killing machines. Another difference.

But progress means change, and Cuba is now attempting to break free from the limitations of its past history and the top-down structure that justifiable paranoia (THEY were really out to kill therm all) fostered.

A good read here for those who might be interested: http://ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=53520

A lot to think about. My take is that the way they are moving is toward a better life for the people.

Those who own the US, by contrast, have been murdering, slaughtering, carpet bombing, poisoning, butchering, death-squading, and sending missiles and drones to kill anyone near anyone suspected of something. And what do they do for us, the people? Even that question is a lie. The factually answerable question is what they do TO us and for THEM.
