I know I always used to go to Thomas, and tried today, but I seem to be doing something wrong.

If anyone has a link, thank you!

New York and Texas are comically divided.

7. Thank you all! I just e-mailed all the Republicans who voted Yea and thanked
them for their effort knowing it's difficult to stand up against the pressure, all the Dems who voted Nay and said that even though I'm not a constituent, I will contribute to their opponent's campaign next time they are up for reelection, and of course a big thank you to my guy, Inslee, who always does the right thing! :patriot:

9. we needed 2/3 of 412 votes ( 412 were present to vote)
7 Dems were absent !
And 11 Dems voted NO.

So, if all Dems had showed and voted, that would have been 419 voting.

we would have needed 2/3 of 419 votes = 279.

But there are only 276 total Dems, so the votes was doomed to fail unless some Republicans voted for it.
