House is debating extending Emergency unemployment funding-right now.
12:46 P.M. -
DEBATE - The House proceeded with forty minutes of debate on H.R. 6419.

Considered under suspension of the rules.

Mr. Levin moved to suspend the rules and pass the bill, as amended.

Debate continues....hopefully vote soon.

3. Everyone here who thought that the Dems would waste the lame duck session needs to apologize
We're kicking serious ass almost every freaking hour this week, and making the GOP look like heartless assholes in the process.

4. +1. The minute Pelosi dusted herself off and said she was running for Speaker and
the House Dems didn't start making "humina-humina, running away now" noises, I realized they weren't going to waste the time they have left.

6. When their ass kicking results in a law that helps us "little people"
I will be impressed.

Yes, I know the Notarization Bill veto was sustained.

I know there is little time to get anything of significance passed, and I am MOST anxious to see what kind of defensive ball the Dems play starting in Jan.

I think the elections did shake them up a bit, tho.
