Cancer patient voted R now may lose no lifetime cap on health ins???
Edited on Tue Nov-09-10 09:29 PM by Omaha Steve

He was so happy when I explained that starting the first of the year our plan will have no lifetime limit. It was 2 million and he has used a good deal of it. Obamacare. I then explained the party he voted for (Rep King R-Ia) wants to repeal that. I wonder how many others are in this boat?

1. Most of them.
I have no doubt they hadn't a clue what they were doing last Tuesday.

3. You should at least have the decency to nominate him for a Darwin Award.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but there is currently no insurance coverage that treats voting against your best interest.

21. A Darwin Award
requires that you be dead. Let's hope that this doesn't happen to this person because of his vote.

5. These people need a hard hit of reality.
I know of a teacher (public school) who rail against government run healthcare, etc. At the same time, he is a living off of a government run program.

7. That is how Republicans gain power
by keeping people from knowing what they are really voting for.

12. Milwaukee man had a heart attack on election day
The news reported that in the midst of being treated at the hospital he arranged to get an absentee ballot and vote. He said he was a Republican. I wonder if he ever thought while he was filling out his ballot that he had just acquired a preexisting condition that his friends in Congress would like to hang around his neck.

15. And once he's employed, I bet he goes back to voting R and says
"screw those lazy bums for not working" while he pats himself on the back for pulling himself up by his bootstraps with no help from anyone.

17. Actually, I would say ...
very few are in these guy's shoes. Me-partiers, once diagnosed, scream for something like the healthcare bill ... but the day before the diagnosis, it's all about personal rsponsibility for your own healthcare.

24. They vote against their interests, then have the nerve to look shocked...
when they get screwed over. :banghead:

I've told shocked voters, "The repubs did what they said they were going to do. Why are you shocked, that's what you voted for."

Response: That wasn't supposed to happen to me, that was supposed to happen to "those lazy people".
