The administrators of this site can see who is doing the un recommending so that makes their job of weeding out the goof balls a whole lot easier.

32. Maybe because her husband was outsourcing desperately needed US jobs to India
when these pictures were taken?

There are two different Americas being represented here. One of them is not amused by pretty pictures.

But she has grown on me in leaps and bounds. She is such an absolute natural around children, and exhibts such grace and beauty. I love that she has her own style, it irriates me when people compares her to other First Ladies. She has her own wonderful style that flows very well for her, could not ask for a better representive for this country, apart from that accessory on her arm..President Obama

20. Looking at these awesome pix, I was thinking something similar...
She's quite natural with children, and with people (example: Queen Elizabeth ;) ). She obviously enjoys them, and they warm up to her. What I was thinking was the difference between her and some other First Ladies. It would not be the same if this was Laura Bush, and Barbara Bush would have scared them... x(

27. Re- the unrecs, maybe
Edited on Sun Nov-07-10 01:32 AM by snot
they relate to what Obama's visit to India is about:

That the U.S. is lifting restrictions against the export to India of sensitive nuclear weapons technologies so as to benefit U.S. companies selling same, and that it's probably only because we're in such bad economic shape that we're now willing to do it. "US, India sign deals worth $20 billion," etc. (Per India tv at http://www.ndtv.com/video/live/channel/ndtv24x7 .)

Sorry to be a downer -- I mean that -- but as an oldster, I've observed my world get to where it is now through not wanting to face the dark.

30. I so loved it when she kicked off her shoes.
I've said it before, I can't think of another FLOTUS as
beautiful, natural and spontaneous as Michelle Obama. She had
better be there in two years time.

Work harder Barack. Do not compromise on what is correct and
humane. Make the Repugs unelectable. Warm up your veto pen .
Make them justify why they hate the common people as they
enact legislation for the rich.

Use your 'lame duck' session to pass YOUR agenda.
Let the people know what they will miss out on for the next
two years.

Oh BTW please put Bush and Chaney in chains.

59. No, thankfully my commute doesn't match his schedule.
But I've heard enough over the years. A few years ago I used to work with my brother, a Rush listener, and we'd drive into town together to grab a burger for lunch. Of course, Rush is on at that hour, so he'd flip on the radio, chuckling that I needed to hear some truth. He did it good naturedly, of course, but he was still serious about it.

Nowadays, I listen to the local news/talk radio (same station!) for traffic and weather info on my morning commute. Of course the station is right-leaning, so it's Boortz, Limbaugh, and Hannity all day after about 8:30. That's after I get to work, but I still have to put up with Rush's little minute-long rant/whine "update" around 7:30 AM. If I forget to turn off the radio when I park the car, I'm greeted with Sean "The Great American" Hannity's incessant whining when I get ready to drive home.

I guess if I searched I could find some hard right station, needless to say I don't ;)

I couldn't believe that whole fiasco, about the inaccurate $2 billion daily cost for Obama's trip to India, they perpetuated throughout the country.
